We provide a wide range of services in environmental impact assessment, urban planning, soil and groundwater assessment & remediation, and biological resources. Focusing on California's unique and challenging regulatory and policy environment.

We have an immediate opening and excellent professional growth opportunity for a full-time Mid-Level Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Hydrogeologist to join our Carlsbad office.  The successful candidate would be responsible for executing environmental investigations and remediation projects, to create work products that meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Experience and Skills:

Primary responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
  • Design and oversee soil and groundwater assessment and remediation projects
  • Design, evaluate, and implement site remediation strategies
  • Review, interpret, and summarize laboratory results
  • Evaluate, analyze, and interpret technical data relative to project-specific goals
  • Conduct/assist with field investigations and site inspections
  • Write technical reports and proposals with a focus on QA/QC
  • Detail oriented; resourceful; strong time management skills

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or another related field
  • At least 3 to 5 years of direct relevant work experience in California
  • OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER training
  • Knowledge of current and emerging California groundwater policies and procedures with particular expertise in RWQCB and DTSC directives and goals
  • Highly motivated with excellent documentation skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, strong time management skills, and innovative
