We have an immediate opening for a Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) in our Los Angeles office.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Oversee, direct, and execute stormwater compliance programs for large infrastructure projects and industrial sites
  • Prepare CGP and IGP SWPPPs
  • Review QSP compliance inspections (Weekly/During/Post)
  • Provide BMP recommendations
  • Review surface water quality sampling, and report preparation (i.e. Annual Reports, AdHoc Reports, Corrective Action Plans)
  • Evaluate, analyze, and interpret technical data relative to project-specific goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulating agencies, and municipalities
  • Prepare and manage budgets and schedules to meet the clients goals and expectations 

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum B.S. in Environmental Science, Geology, Soil Science, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, or another related field (candidates with the equivalent in knowledge and experience may also be considered)
  • A clean driving record
  • Understanding of with CASQA's Storm Water Best Management Practice Handbook
  • Caltrans stormwater experience a plus
  • At least 5 years of direct, relevant work experience in California
  • OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER training
  • Highly motivated with excellent documentation skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, strong time management skills, and innovative
  • QSD certification (Current)
  • QISP Certificate a plus
