We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven, and detail-oriented professional for an IT Desktop/Enterprise Support Technician to join our team in our Ventura office. This is not a telecommuting position.

The IT Desktop/Enterprise Support Technician position tracks resources throughout the firm, installs, modifies, troubleshoots, and makes repairs to computer hardware and software systems, and provides technical advice and support to staff.

Essential Functions

  • Identifies and procures the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements based on independent research, scheduled maintenance cycles, staff need, and direction provided by management
  • Installs basic hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and hardware on company workstations
  • Loads appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications
  • Provides telephone, in-person, and online support to end-users (limited travel required)
  • Coordinates activities and system events with information technology groups and end users
  • Provides updates, status and completion information to manager and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail or in-person communication
  • Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction
  • Connects users to networks and provides staff onboarding IT training
  • Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies
  • Software license delegation and resource tracking
  • Documentation of processes and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Experience and Skills:

  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Proficiency in Office 365
  • Proficiency in Windows 7/10 Operating Systems
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts
  • Ability to sit in front of a computer monitor for long periods of time

 This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and or other types of IT related hardware.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.  Must have the ability to lift and arrange boxes and equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
