Job Description:

Through 3/25/2020 we are accepting applications for our 2020 summer internship program in the following service lines:

Biological and Wetland Resources Groupwhere you will assist with Baseline Biological Resources and Vegetation Mapping; Rare, Threatened and Endangered Plant and Wildlife Species Surveys; Wetland Delineations; Arborist Services; Drainage/Wetlands Permits; ESA Section 7 Consultations and Section 10 Habitat Conservation Plans; CESA Permits/MOUs and Natural Community Conservation Plans; Wetland, Riparian, and Upland Habitat Revegetation and Restoration Planning; and Construction and Mitigation Monitoring.

Environmental Planning and Sustainability Groupwhere you will assist with CEQA and NEPA Analysis, Compliance, and Documentation; Planning Services; Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Sustainability Analysis; Noise Studies and Air Quality Analysis; and General Plan Policy Analysis.

 

Internship Availability & Focus:

Fresno:  Environmental Planning & Sustainability

Oakland:  Environmental Planning & Sustainability

Sacramento:  Environmental Planning & Sustainability

Santa Barbara:  Environmental Planning & Sustainability

Ventura:  Biological & Wetland Resources and Sustainability (GHG Specific)

 

The duration of these paid internships is anticipated to be approximately 3 months.  Hours of work are flexible with part and full-time options.

 

 

Experience and Skills:

Qualified candidates are graduate students in the following fields: Environmental Science, Geology, Biology or related field.
